Joann joined Kitchen Kickstart in 2021 after spending years trying to figure out a plan for her kitchen.

Over the last 25 years, Joann and her husband have filled their kitchen with so much love while raising their children and now grandchildren.
It has been amazing to watch the transformation from a small dark kitchen to a big beautiful space they can enjoy together for years to come.

Joann had a very typical 1970s-style kitchen:
- Dark cabinets
- Can lights
- Minimal countertop space
- Soffits
- U Shape
- Cabinets up against the window
These were just a few of the design issues I saw that I knew we needed to fix.
